NRG Gives
Date: November 11-22 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
NRG Gives, our community giving program, will be awarding $100,000 to local nonprofit organizations. NRG employees from New Jersey and Pennsylvania nominated nonprofit organizations that champion a cause close to their hearts. Vote for your favorite nonprofit from November 11-17 to help decide who receives a donation. Winners will be announced the week of November 18.
Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s “Light up the Lawn, Light up a Life”
Date: November 12 | Location: Columbus, OH
Join NRG in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s annual holiday giving campaign, “Light up the Lawn, Light up a Life.” On November 12, NRG will light up glowing 3D butterflies on the hospital’s lawn to honor donations of $10 or more, helping brighten the lives of children and families in need this season.
Peddler’s Village Grand Illumination Celebration
Date: November 15 | Location: Lahaska, PA
NRG is proud to be the presenting sponsor of Peddler’s Village’s annual Grand Illumination Celebration, showcasing a splendor of colorful lights, local music, and dance performances. On Friday, November 15, at 6:15 p.m. ET, Santa and Mrs. Claus will flip the switch to illuminate Peddler’s Village. You can spot the holiday lights every evening through January 19, 2025.
Cumulus Media Holiday Food Drive

NRG is joining forces with Cumulus Media, FOX Sports LV, and Love Ran Red Foundation to help fight hunger this holiday season! Stop by the Weis Supermarket in Bethlehem, PA, on November 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET to drop off canned food items for Second Harvest Food Bank.
6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade

A true Philly tradition, join us as we sponsor the 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade. As the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the U.S., this event is not to be missed! Look out for NRG’s float and balloon as they make their way through the parade, spreading cheer to all!
WMMR-FM Preston and Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger
Date: December 2-6 | Location: Philadelphia, PA
Help NRG support the Camp Out for Hunger event with WMMR hosts Preston and Steve. This weeklong live radio event collects non-perishable food donations for Philabundance, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger and Choose to Give partner. Bring your donations from December 2-6, and be sure to tune in as NRG participates in a live interview at 9 a.m. ET on December 4.
6abc Holiday Food Drive Telethon

Support the fight against hunger with the 6abc Holiday Food Drive Telethon, benefiting NRG’s Choose to Give partner, Philabundance. Tune in to the live broadcast on December 3 from 4-6:30 p.m. ET to watch NRG employees take donation calls and participate in a live interview.
Philadelphia Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holiday season with NRG at Philadelphia’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall! As a proud sponsor, NRG invites you to experience the splendor of twinkling lights and a 1-hour broadcast special, “Philadelphia Celebrates the Holidays,” on 6abc.
Lurie Children’s Hospital Radiothon

NRG is proud to sponsor this year’s Lurie Children’s Hospital Radiothon, a live radio broadcast raising funds to support lifesaving care for kids and families. All funds raised during the broadcast will help to increase research, support families in need, and provide lifesaving care to more kids. Tune in to any iHeart Chicago station on December 5 and make a donation during NRG’s Power Hour to contribute!
